Important rules:
1. The application must be received at least three days prior to the date of meeting of the trustees.
2. Jamat Safai Chitthi must be submitted with the application.
3. Only completed applications will be taken for consideration in the meeting.
4. The amount and terms of the Qardan Hasana sanctioned, will be at the discretion of the trustees. The
trustees’ decision will be final.
5. The applicant will be informed of the decision taken on his application.
 
1. COMPLETION OF FORM
 
1.1 The form along with this cover sheet must be completed in clear legible writing and the names of the applicant and guarantors should be written in block capitals. A photo of the applicant must be pasted at the space provided above.
1.2 Sections 1, 2, 3 are to be completed fully in all respects.
1.3 In certain circumstances depending primarily on the quantum of the application and the status of the guarantors, the trustees may at its discretion waive the requirement of completing this form in its entirety. Applicants are advised to seek prior approval.
2. GUARANTORS AND SECURITY
 
2.1 In accordance with the irshadat of Huzurala (tus) the applicant will need to offer security in the form of jewellery relavent to the amount of the qardan hasana sought.
2.2 A detailed inventory of the jewellery should be provided. Where the total value is in excess of Sterling pounds £1,000/-, valuation certificates must be produced.
2.3 Two guarantors acceptable to the trustees will be required in support of the application. A formal personal guarantee form duly completed and signed by each guarantor should be submitted with the application.
2.4 On approval of the application, guarantors will have to provide postdated cheques as additional security. In the event of default of the monthly repayments, this security is enforceable without prior notice.
3. REPAYMENT OF QARDAN HASANA
 
3.1 Repayment must be made by post dated cheques issued by the applicant only.
3.2 Third party cheques will not be accepted.

  consecutive equal monthly payments. First payment to be made on the day of and each subsequent

  (a) Default in making any one payment as aforesaid within one month from its due date or;
(b) My/our application for loan relative hereto proving incomplete or inaccurate in any material respect; or

(d) Destruction of or irreparable damage to the said premises or loss or theft or irreparable damage to the said items
  The whole of the sum remaining payable under this note shall become immediately due and payable and no items given or indulgence granted or allowance made to me/us shall prejudice the strict rights of the holder.
3. The deeds of the said premises or the said items have been deposited with you as security for the loan and shall only be returned to me/us when the loan has been repaid in full.
